Biography
Christoforos Tzannou is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cultural Informatics and Communication at the University of the Aegean, focusing on the design of digital cultural products. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the same department, where he developed a strong interest in the intersection of culture and technology.
Throughout his academic journey, he has actively participated in various research and innovation projects, including the Erasmus+ program in Cyprus, enhancing his knowledge in multimedia, digital art, VR, UX-UI and programming. His work often explores the digital transformation of cultural heritage and the role of emerging technologies in cultural production.
In 2023, he won the ERUA HackAThon for developing “S.D Mobility,” an innovative application designed to offer diverse travel solutions through smart algorithms. He has also represented Greece at the 6th European University Film Award 2021 (EUFA), engaging with European cinematic culture.
He recently participated in the Cross-European University Alliance Symposium (Paris, 10-11 October 2024), organized by ERUA-European Reform University Alliance and EUniWell, which focused on multilingualism and the implementation of language policies in European universities.
